Where to go and eat before Champions League Finals in Madrid, Spain?
It is that time of the year. The biggest football event is fast approaching. The Champions League Finals. This time in Madrid, Spain. And the visitors are craving not only for amazing football but amazing Spanish Food. What to do in lively Madrid? Where to go for dinner on a Friday night, in Madrid before the UCL Finals on Saturday? If you have only 48 hours in Madrid, one definite answer would be Amazonica Restaurant. A Pan Asian restaurant where you would find great Peruvian, Japanese food in the middle of Spain. It’s a pinch of Asian in Amazon as they call it. Wonderful atmosphere that you would actually feel you are in Amazon. Fresh fruit cocktails and super tasty food. I had a variety of their dishes and I enjoyed every bit. They also have a great wine selection, my obvious choice was a Spanish one. The service was very friendly, too. In short Amazonica is a very chic restaurand and a definitely one of the best places to have dinner in Madrid. A top choice. Reservation required. Tapas or Paella may sound as natural choices when you are in Spain. But don’t be mistaken and rest assured you can choose Asian vs Tapas in Madrid.
And the bonus is the Jazz club downstairs. The Jungle Jazz Club.
You know how is dining in Spain different than US or Europe??? Spaniards eat late, so don’t expect anything to happen at the jazz Club before Midnight.
The cool factor: The ambience
