My Top 3 Breakfast spots in London
Just now a very dear friend asked for my Top London breakfast spots…There are numerous alternatives but being a foodie my expectations have always been a tad higher. So here are my favourites:
1) For style hunters: 202 Westbourne Grove. The place is actually called 202 . It is where style meets great food. A to see and to be seen kind of place and they do have amazing scrambled eggs. My favourite is the one with smoked salmon.
The cool factor: They have a great boutique downstairs, where you can buy latest fashion items.
2) For those looking for an English classic: The Wolseley. A real classic where you will have your breakfast in fine china and silver. The service is great and food is delicious. It is on Piccadily but definitely far from being a tourist trap. What should you choose? The English.
The cool factor: The ambience and the history behind the brand.
3) For comtemporarists: AuBaine. French food in London at a stylish setting. There are several outposts of Aubaine, but my favourite is the one at Brompton Cross, South Kensington. Good food, great desserts-you should definitely finish your breakfast with their marvellous, I am saying again, marvellous chocolate eclair.
Great ambience and always buzzy…I love how inside is airy and modern. Never fails for a decent breakfast.
The cool factor: Chocolate eclair 🙂 It has great interiors which is always buzzy.
love aubaine! posting about it today! 🙂 please visit my blog ❤ https://enjoybypaula.wordpress.com/ ❤
